- Caldaris don't get a tier 3 BS for their main weapon type that most of them have trained for, missiles. In fact it is easier for those gallente-hybrid-users with many millions in gunnery and hybrids to train caldari frigate and cruiser to 4 and then Caldari BS, to use the Rokh more effective and faster than for missile-specialized Caldaris (and yes, most caldaris are trained in missiles).
YOu're an idiot if you haven't trained up hybrid skills as a caldari, it's like a Gallente not training up drones..
And I won't reply to the otehr points because I ahve not tested everything fully yet.
I think your post is idiot - why should i have trained them ? Till the announcement of the rokh the best rail-ship was a ferox/vulture, no hybrid bs. So why training something you don't use ? Spending millions of sp for a so far (so far = till announcement of rokh) useless weapon type instead of concentrating the skilltime for weapons that you use ? The Caldari main weapon so far was missiles, not hybrids.
Caldari main weapon was and is Railguns. Missiles are a second weapon for us, but they're easier to use, and they are by far the superior PVE weapon type.
The result is that alot of people trained for missiles for mission whoring effectiveness. that doesn't change the fact that Railguns are the Caldari weapon as much as missiles, if not more so.
Ask older Caldari players what they trained for orginally.
Hint, it's not missiles.

It's not a nerf, Crystals are now the same as Slave's. The get shield amount and not shield boost, just like Slave get armor amount and not repair.
If it's a nerf, then slave's came pre-nerfed. Look at it how you will...
You realize this is arguibly a boost right?
Let's see, with HP bufs, a NH can have a killer tank, 25k shields or so, and over 200 shields peak regen, before rigs.
Throw in a HG crystal set to boost their HP by whatever amount.
You've now got even more shields, and an even more uber passive shield tank...
/me predicts LOTS of passive-tanked ships at the next alliance tourny, and alot of stalemates.

I wonder if/when/how they will make passive shield tanks doable. Currently, you can make good passive tanks on a few ships, but generally speaking they are heavily inferior to active tanks but have the saving grace of being immune to NOS.
TBH, I'd be happy with a NH that can do a 100 or so peak recharge without having to use every mid and lowslot.

5 light TD drones will change that.
